Sweet baby jesus. Whats a mat painter and hows that different from concept art. I always thought matte paintings were like backgrounds of movies? Is this wrong?
mat painting is your favorite kind, where they use photographs and blend them together with painting
But for what purpose? I get it, I accept it. I understand that people use photo manipulations, but I still think down on it.
It's used for environments that would either be too costly or near impossible to create and film another way.
