I started making my own brushes. Its a lot of fun! This is a concept art for the environment for my world. Please tell me what you guys think? Do you like this direction or hate it?
I like that you're working with your own brushes but I think the speckles of color in the background just are cohesive enough. Their hue range isn't consistent enough with the rest of the piece.
I think tightening up on some areas in the front would give it some interesting focus.
